BELLMEAD, TX — A man who police said attempted to rob the Chase Bank inside a Walmart on Tuesday has been arrested.
Hewitt police said the suspect has been arrested. He was taken into custody in Lacy Lakeview by Bellmead police.
According to the department, around 5:39 p.m. on Tuesday a man came up to the counter and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The note also stated that the man had a gun, however no weapon was displayed.
The suspect is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, and approximately 260 pounds.
The man then left in a four-door, silver Ford Focus with possible black rims.
