WACO, TX — Infamous Ink, the Waco tattoo shop cited for opening before the state allowed, are selling shirts for their legal fund.
"Available exclusively at Infamous-Ink Sckt Waco for donations towards our legal fund," the tattoo shop posted. "Thank you everyone for the support."
Infamous Ink joined a statewide protest earlier this month after tattoo shops were left out of the May 8 opening of hair salons and barbershops.
They were cited by code enforcement, but continued to stay open.
Tattoo shops were finally allowed to open statewide after Gov. Abbott's executive orders on May 18.
Infamous Ink saw support from many in the community.
Shelley Luther, a Dallas hair salon owner who was jailed earlier this month for illegally reopening her business during the coronavirus pandemic, visited Infamous Ink last week.
