WACO, TX — Indian Spring Middle School will transition to fully remote learning through the end of the month, according to a letter sent to parents and staff by Principal Joseph Alexander.
Two cases of COVID-19 have been reported so far this week, however no new cases were reported Wednesday.
In the letter, Alexander stated 29 employees are expected to be out Thursday. Most are out after testing positive for COVID-19, being in close contact with someone who tested positive or due to possible coronavirus symtpoms. This includes members of the campus leadership team and teachers.
The school will transition to fully remote learning beginning Thursday, January 21. In-person instruction is expected to begin again n Monday, February 1.
