WACO — The Humane Society of Central Texas is working with Dog Is My Co-Pilot and the Idaho Humane Society to fly dogs up north where their shelters are empty

They said that loving homes are waiting for 6 lucky Waco animals. One of the sweetest dogs who is leaving for a wonderful life in Idaho is Justice, a dog with a severe case of demodex mange.

She and 5 other dogs will be leaving at 5:45 a.m. from Addison this Saturday, June 6.

"We need 6 airline approved crates to send these dogs off to our rescue partner in Idaho. We are requesting donations from the public of new or gently used plastic dog crates that can hold 40-50 pound dogs," they said.

They need the crates by Friday at noon.

Please drop off crate donations at the Humane Society of Central Texas, 2032 Circle Rd, Waco, TX 76706 during business hours Mon-Sat.
