WACO, TX — Gotcha, a bike-sharing program, has made the decision to withhold the program in Waco.
The City of Waco and Gotcha made a mutual decision to suspend the bike-sharing program until further notice earlier this month.
Gotcha said the program is continuing to experience challenges tied with their technology.
"Therefore, we have made the decision to withhold the program until we feel confident it will provide the best experience for riders in Waco," the company said.
They said they look forward to bringing the program to Waco, and appreciate the city's patience.
Back in May, the company said due to some unforeseen technical difficulties with its hardware and software the launch is postponed.
The program was expected to launch at the end of July.
