WACO, TX — The Waco Police Department is searching for a driver who took off after crashing into a woman Monday evening.
Police say on August 10 shortly after 8 p.m., a 32-year-old woman was walking in the 2300 block of Breezy Drive when she was hit by a black Chevy Camaro.
The driver then took off. The vehicle was impounded at the scene.
The victim's family says she was walking her dog when it happened. She was taken to the hospital and sustained a serious concussion. Her dog was not injured.
