WEST, TX — Services have been scheduled for a West High School student, Matthias "Wolfie" Culp, who died at home on Tuesday.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 26 at 10 a.m. at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West.
Visitation with the family is scheduled for Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
West Independent School District said rising junior Matthias Culp died on Tuesday.
Culp played trumpet in the Pride of West Band.
"Please join our students, staff, district, and community in praying for the Culp family during this difficult time," the district said in a statement. "Matthias will be greatly missed."
The district said a counseling team will be on staff at summer school for any family and students wishing to speak to someone. For more information, visit the district's website.
