County and state officials have partnered to offer free COVID-19 testing sites in July and August throughout McLennan County.

The testing sites are part of a group effort by the Waco-McLennan County Office of Emergency Management, the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District and the Texas Department of Emergency Management.

Two walk-up sites and two-drive through sites will be set up. All testing is free. If you suspect you may have COVID-19 or think you may have been exposed to it, you are encouraged to be tested.

The testing is a cheek swab test and results are available within 24 to 48 hours. Roughly 600 tests will be available at each site per day. You must register for the drive-through sites 24 hours in advance online.
