WACO, TX — Both Connally High School and Connally Junior High School will shift to online instruction, according to letters sent by school officials.
Connally High School will close its campus from Friday, November 12 until Friday, November 27. Officials say the school will try to resume in-person learning on Monday, November 30.
The high school will continue to serve hot breakfast from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and hot lunch from 12 p.m. through 1 p.m. during the week of November 16 through November 20.
Head Football Coach Shane Anderson says the closure will not affect the football team.

Connally Junior High will close for five calendar days after five positive COVID-19 cases in the past seven days. The school closed on Wednesday, November 11 and students began online instruction on November 12.
