WACO, TX — Diamond Elite Magazine and Company is hosting one final event before 2020 comes to an end, making it a perfect way for vendors and the community to support one another during the holiday season.

"I'm glad to have the support of the community and to have people come and look for me, and it's surprising!" said Domonique Douglas.

Douglas sells homemade candles and is one of the vendors participating in the "Christmas Soiree" event.

"Without the community, we would not be here as a small local business, so we need the community support to keep thriving," said Kandice Iglehart, CEO of the Diamond Elite Magazine and Company. "I am an entrepreneur myself, so I know how important it is to get out and network and show off what you bring to the table."

"Bringing out the community, it's what it is about. Getting us together, supporting one another and building relationships that we did not have before," said Douglas.

The event is also a way for small businesses to end the year on a positive note.

"I just feel like we should end off the year strong, positive, something to come out and have fun and laugh together and enjoy life," said Iglehart.

The event will have countless vendors, music, food, and much more. It's taking place on Saturday, December 19 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Ticketsare $10.

They will be enforcing the use of masks and will provide hand sanitizer for everyone.
