Celebrate 'Fourth on the Brazos' with food, live music and fireworks

WACO, TX — Central Texas families are invited to "Fourth on the Brazos" for a patriotic celebration with food, live music and fireworks.

The event takes place on July 4 at Touchdown Alley next to McLane Stadium. The fireworks will be shot above the river, between Touchdown Alley and the Ferrell Center.

Admission is free, and gates open at 5 p.m.

Cean Ballou and the Dirty Crawfish featuring Classie Ballou will take the stage at 6 p.m., followed by Christone "KINGFISH" Ingram at 7:30 p.m. and the Waco Community Band at 9 p.m.

The eighth annual Corndog Classic will begin at 7:15 p.m., and the H-E-B Fireworks show over the Brazos River starts at 9:15 p.m.

For people who may not be able to watch the fireworks show, the Waco City Cable Channel will provide live video coverage.

The coverage will begin around 9:15 p.m. and the show can be viewed on Spectrum channel 10 and in HD, as well as on Grande channel 810. For those who do not have cable or may be away from their televisions, the same coverage can be live-streamed on the Cable Channel's website or from its mobile app.
