The Carlson Law Firm in Waco will be giving away reusable grocery bags full of food to help feed families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event will take place Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m at 3901 West Waco Drive in the American Classifieds Parking Lot.

The bags will provide breakfast, lunch and snack options for the whole family.

Families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to receive a bag full of snacks for each child present with a limit of 3 per family.

The firm will also have a social media contest where families can take a picture with their Snack Pack and posting it to the Carlson Law Firm event page for a chance to win a Family Membership Pass to Cameron Park Zoo.

“The novel coronavirus has put a strain on families all across this country and right here in our Waco community,” said Carlson Law Firm attorney Dominic Braus. “Every year, our firm, as part of our Carlson Cares Initiative tries to help those in the Waco community who need it most. While our annual Party with a Purpose looks a little different this year, we’re happy that we were able to adapt and still serve our community by helping families worry a little less about where their next meal will come from.”

Over 30% of Wacoans live below the poverty line and many suffer the devastating consequences of hunger. The Carlson Law Firm launched its Carlson Cares program two years ago to laser focus our charitable efforts on the people in our community who need it most.
