BELLMEAD, TX — Bellmead police recovered a stolen truck that was found in the Dallas area.
Police said on July 9, two vehicles were stolen by unknown suspects from the area. The vehicles stolen were a two-tone brown 1985 Chevrolet Silverado and a Red 1979 Chevrolet Corvette.
The vehicles were last seen at Road Ranger off I-35 in Lacy Lakeview. The truck was pushing the corvette when it was then seen by witnesses.
A video that was obtained by police showed the corvette being towed from the scene by the stolen truck.
Detectived from Bellmead police contacted Dallas police Auto Theft Task Force and the truck was recovered on July 10 at a home in Dallas.
The corvette has not been found, but authorities believe it is in the Dallas area.
The license plate for the corvette is DP9-T172.
