WACO, TX — The Baylor Institute for Air Science celebrated a new addition to their aviation science program.
The institute held their grand opening of the Baylor Flight Center, which is a partnership with Universal Flight Conepts.
The center will provide superior flight training for students in aviation science.
Prior to the opening, flight training was held at the TSTC Air Field. The new addition will set new expectations for the program.
"I think we'll be able to truly set the standard for collegiate aviation both in how the program and the training is conducted, and in the equipment that we are using to train our pilots," said Trey Cade, Director of the Baylor Institute for Air Science.
The current fall semester students are the first to use the new flight center.
