UPDATE
WACO, Texas - A 12-year-old girl who was hit by a car on Monday has died, according to Waco police.
Alina Miller of China Spring was riding her bicycle when she was hit by a car around 4 p.m. near the intersection of Orchid Lane and Salem Way.
Police said Wednesday that she died from her injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.

A 12-year-old bicyclist was taken to the hospital after an auto-pedestrian crash in Waco.
The crash happened at approximately 4:07 p.m. on Dec. 6 near the 10000 block of Orchid and Salem Way.
The driver was traveling west on Orchid and the 12-year-old was riding their bike south on Salem at the time of the crash.
The 12-year-old was taken to the hospital in critical condition and the driver stayed on the scene to help with the investigation.
