WOODWAY, TX — The Heart of Texas Autism Network will host a sensory movie for individuals with special needs and immediately family members at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hollywood Theater in Woodway.
Toy Story 4 will be shown, and the event allows for a sensory-friendly environment, according to a Facebook event created by the Network.
The Heart of Texas Autism Network hopes to create a comfortable environment where people with special needs can get up and dance, walk, shout or sing. The lights will be on and the sound will be down to create a space where the movie can be enjoyed by all.
Every family member that attends will need a ticket and tickets can be purchased here. Each child will receive a snack pack.
The Heart of Texas Autism Network is a nonprofit organization that seeks to provide support and encouragement for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. The organization has no membership dues and hosts monthly meetings and activities.
