One person is in custody after an officer-involved shooting in Waco.
According to the Texas Department of Public Service, DPS special agents were serving a felony warrant outside of the E-Z Groceries store on 22nd Street and Bosque Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
DPS says during the service of the warrant, officers pulled out their weapons and fired.
No one was injured in the shooting. One person has been taken into custody.
The Texas Rangers are on scene investigating the incident.
DPS says there is no threat to the community, and the area will remain closed for several hours while officers investigate.
