WACO, TX — American Idol will make a stop in Waco this summer to hold auditions ahead of the show's 18th season.
Make sure you have those vocal cords warmed up when auditions start on Aug. 27. Auditions will be held at the Waco Convention Center.
TJ Bell, a musician featured on Texas Voices, is excited for the opportunity to make it on the show.
"I never thought I'd be on American Idol, but I'd love to try out," Bell said. "I would love to see all the musicians, especially my friends, everybody out there, just come on out sign up, show them what Waco has because Waco does have a lot of musicians here in town."
