WACO, TX — American Bank announced plans to build two new branches in Central Texas on Tuesday. The new branches will be located in Woodway and Bellmead.
Design aspects are expected to include facades similar to that of the "iconic Round Bank" located in Bellmead.
The work on the Woodway site has already begun as crews work on the demolition of the Express Drive-Thru. A temporary branch is open behind the construction site. American Bank says drive-thru, walk-in teller and night drop deposit services will remain available. Customers who need to use an ATM can access the one inside of the American Bank Plaza lobby, located at 200 West Highway 6.
The new Bellmead branch will be located on the site of the current round bank. Construction on the new Bellmead branch is expected to begin in fall 2019.
