WACO, TX — 94.5 The Beat hosted their turkey giveaway for the fifth year in a row.
The Steve Harvey Morning Show donated 100 turkeys to their affiliates. The remaining 60 turkeys were donated by the public.
Along with the turkeys came supplies for family meal.
"Without taking care of the community, you know, there's nothing out there, and we're able to do it all. We can definitely take a piece of it," said Rich Richardson, General Manager at 94.5 The Beat.
The event was one-day only, but plans for next year are already in the works.
