RIESEL, TX — A 29-year-old was killed after a crash on Sunday.
DPS said at approximately 6:02 p.m. a fatal crash happened on SH 6 near Riesel.
An initial investigation determined the driver of a Dodge pickup truck traveling northbound lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, crossed over the center median and crashed into a Buick SUV traveling southbound.
The driver of the Buick, 29-year-old Hermaleen Haney, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge and the passenger of the Buick had a possible injury.
The investigation is still active and ongoing. There are possible charges.
