WOODWAY, TX — The Woodway Public Safety Department has arrested a 17-year-old after a tip was given to authorities that child porn was shared on social media.
Officials say that Nicholas Johnson was arrested and charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography. A tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children identified a file of child porn that had been shared on social media. After searching Johnson's home, more files of child porn were found on his computer.
During an interview with police, Johnson admitted that he had downloaded and viewed child porn on digital devices.
There is no bond set at this time.
