BRYAN COLLEGE STATION, TX — USA Racquetball is bringing the 2020 National Singles to Bryan College Station.
The national governing body for racquetball announced that the Singles Championships will be held in Bryan College Station from May 27 to May 31.
This is a national event, and projects to bring in 600-700 participants over Memorial Day weekend. The event will utilize the Texas A&M Rec Center racquetball courts.
“The sport of racquetball has history in Texas, and we are eager to continue that tradition in Bryan College Station and showcase our community to a national audience. This event is a big deal. Weekday events are a big deal here. Combining those benefits with partners like USA Racquetball and the Texas A&M Recreation Center make this event a homerun for Bryan College Station,” says Dominique Powell, Director of Sports and Events for Bryan College Station Sports + Events.
This event is expected to have an economic impact of over $430,000.
