They say Garcia drove his pickup truck into a house in the 2300 block of N. Earl Rudder Freeway Frontage Road.

According to police, Garcia drove in the backyard between 3405 Timberline Ct. and 3406 Timberline Ct. and damaged the resident's fences.

The residents of 3402 Timberline Ct advised officers that they observed Garcia driving in the backyard between 3405 and 3406 Timberline Ct before colliding into their home.

According to the affidavit, the truck went into the home of a 72-year-old woman's bedroom. She told police she had just gotten up to go to the restroom when the collision occurred.

The woman told police the damage caused bricks, lumber, wires, cable, sheetrock, and furniture to fly into her home.

Furniture and sheetrock landed on her bed where she had been laying just seconds prior to the crash.

As police were investigating, they received another call from a woman who said she saw Garcia strike her parked vehicle on Woodville Road.

Garcia was transported to St. Joseph Hospital for injuries.

He admitted to police that he had 4 beers and knew he should not have been driving at the time of the accident.

His bonds are set at $6,000.
