College Station woman arrested for child endangerment after driving on occupied basketball court

COLLEGE STATION, TX — College Station Police say they arrested a woman after reckless driving placed several children in danger.

Police say on Feb. 15 Mykaysha Palmer drove several circles on an occupied basketball court, placing several children in fear of serious injury or death.

The 23-year-old has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and 2x endangering a child.

Officers and paramedics responded to the Lincoln Center at about 5:12 p.m. for the reported incident.

No one was found to be injured.

Palmer and her vehicle were located about 20 minutes later at an apartment complex in the 500 block of Harvey Road.

Police say after consultation with the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office, the suspect is being charged with 1x aggravated assault and 2x endangering a child (under 15 years of age). Several other victims have been located and additional charges are possible.

This incident is being turned over to our Criminal Investigations Division.
