Secretary of the Army Ryan D. McCarthy says the military branch is "concerned for the welfare" of missing Fort Hood soldier Vanessa Guillen.

Pfc. Guillen, 20, was last seen around 11:30 am in the parking lot of her Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters, 3rd Cavalry Regiment on Fort Hood on April 22.

Secretary McCarthy said officials fully understand the frustration felt by the family, friends and fellow soldiers of Pfc. Guillen.

He said they are doing "everything in our power to get her back and will not stop until [they] do."

There is a $50,000 reward for information leading to Pfc. Guillen. Anyone with information is asked to report it to the Fort Hood Criminal Investigations Department at (254) 287-2722 or online.
