BRYAN, TX — A victim is in stable condition after a shooting on West Virginia Street Thursday afternoon.
The Bryan Police Department says officers were called out to the 1700 block of West Virginia Street around noon for reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they learned that a possible shooting victim had left the scene in a vehicle before police arrived.
While officers were on-scene, the department was notified that a patient with an apparent gunshot wound had arrived at the CHI St. Joseph Hospital Emergency Room.
At this time, the victim is in stable condition.
Officers determined that the involved persons knew each other and there is no threat to the public.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
