BRYAN, TX — Attention Bryan-College Station residents!
On Feb 19, local utility officials announced their call for water conservation has ended.
"Thanks to the efforts of our customers and operators, sufficient water pressure is being maintained in our water systems." utility officials wrote in their news release.
At the moment, crews will continue to monitor the water system and are still encouraging residents to be mindful of their water use. Noting, if you continue to run faucets to protect pipes from freezing, keep it to a small drip. Additionally, customers are encouraged to locate their home’s isolation valve and be ready to turn off the water in the event of leaks as pipes thaw out. To limit possible property damage, customers whose pipes have frozen may wish to proactively turn off their water to control leaks.
