Brazos vaccine hub rescheduling weeks' appointments, hosting 'day-long' vaccination event Feb 19

BRAZOS VALLEY, TX — On Feb 15, leadership for the Brazos County Community Vaccination hub announced they will close tomorrow, Feb 16, and the following Wednesday and Thursday.

Instead, on that Friday, Feb 19, the center plans to conduct a 'day-long' vaccination event, "with the hope of distributing a minimum of 2500 of the 3000 received" wrote Chi St. Joseph Health in their news release.

Noted, while organizers still expect low temperatures, they believe the improved driving conditions will still allow the event to operate smoothly.

According to the news release, organizers will begin sending out emails to reschedule appointments at the Brazos Center. Additionally, it was noted, those previously scheduled recipients, should expect to see an updated invite within the next few days." they detailed.

Staff and volunteers who are scheduled for shifts during these rescheduled times will also receive notification changes.
