How to sign up for a COVID-19 vaccine at the Brazos Center

BRAZOS COUNTY, TX — Currently, the Brazos Center is accepting reservations to be vaccinated with the available Moderna vaccine, for all qualifying individuals, in both groups 1A and 1B.

Who qualifies right now as groups 1A and 1B?

Group 1A: Front-line healthcare workers and residents at long-term care facilities

Group 1B: People 65+ or people 16+ with a health condition that increases the risk of severe COVID‑19 illness, including but not limited to:

  • Cancer
  • Chronic kidney disease
  • COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
  • Down Syndrome
  • Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies
  • Organ transplantation
  • Obesity
  • Pregnancy
  • Sickle cell disease
  • Type 2 diabetes

How do I sign up?

To access the waiting list offered by St. Joseph Health, visit here.

As a reminder, walk-up appointments are not available as you must have a confirmed appointment to receive a vaccination.

As of Feb 4., individuals are being contacted in the order that they are received.

Once you receive an invitation sent via email, you will be instructed to fill out the registration form in order to confirm your appointment. Said email, will feature a Texas A&M email address (.edu).

What if I can't register or there are no appointments available?

For any issues registering for an appointment, people are encouraged to email at the following address:
covidvaccine@brazoscountytx.gov

As of Feb 4., the only way to register is online at St. Joseph Health.
