Winter Storm Warning issued for portions of Central Texas, Brazos Valley

A WINTER STORM WARNING has been issued for all of Central Texas including Waco, Temple and Killeen. The warning also includes Bryan, College Station and the rest of the Brazos Valley.

Three to six inches of snow accumulation is possible in this area with some areas seeing up to 8" of snowfall in heavier bands.

A Winter Storm Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous.

The winter storm warning is in effect from 6AM Sunday to 6AM Monday.

Travel could be very difficult, especially on rural and less traveled roadways.

Counties in the warning include Mills-Hamilton-Bosque-Hill-Navarro-Freestone-Lampasas- Coryell-Bell-McLennan-Falls-Limestone-Leon-Milam-Robertson-Madison-Brazos-Burleson-Grimes-San Saba-Williamson-Burnet.
