Waco police urge drivers to stay off roads due to flooding

CENTRAL TEXAS — Police are asking the public to stay off of the roads due to flooding.

Waco police said due to heavy rain, multiple streets are flooding and they are working on multiple calls of people trapped in cars.

Due to reports and cars stalled in the water, they are asking drivers to "stay put and do not drive at this time."

The City of Robinson closed several roads due to flooding:

2700 block of W. Moonlight
Lou at Karnes
Lou at Dogwood
Hwy 77 entrances into Little Rockets Daycare & Pre-K
