WACO, Texas (KXXV) — The clock is ticking now that Governor Greg Abbot has officially signed House Bill 1393 into law, making Daylight Saving Time a possibility in our state.
He's labeled it: Texas Time. But, it won't take effect unless U.S. Congress passes a federal law allowing year-round daylight saving time.
We went out to ask our neighbors about the possible new change.
