A seven-year-old Austin boy is running a hot chocolate stand to raise money for a cause.

But that cause has people in his neighborhood talking, and in some cases, donating.

The boy wants the proceeds from his enterprise to go toward building President Trump's border wall.

His parents say he got the idea from watching Trump's State of the Union speech, and don't deny that they are Trump supporters.

The hot chocolate stand features small "Beto" marshmallows for free, or customers can opt for the larger "Nancy Pelosi" marshmallow for an extra fifty cents.

So far, the boy's mom says he's raised $1,400, with "virtual" online sales bumping his donations to over $5,000 as of Tuesday.

Reviews have been mixed.

"I think it's great. I think kids getting out, showing a little freedom of speech, there's nothing wrong with that," said Brian Hafer.

"When you're seven years old, probably not your own opinion, so it's a little aggressive," said Tim Krauss.

The boy's parents say they're considering donating the money to a GoFundMe page dedicated to building the wall.
