Killeen police are investigating after an assault suspect fled before they were questioned.
Officers responded to the 100 block of W. Central Texas Expressway on a domestic disturbance call just after 1 a.m. Wednesday.
The victim told police that the suspect was still in the area and believed to be in a nearby home.
When officers arrived to identify and detain the suspect, they realize that he or she had fled the scene.
