The power has been restored to the cities of Caldwell and Somerville on Wednesday morning.

The Burleson County Sheriff's Office said the phones at Caldwell City Hall were also down. Caldwell ISD and Somerville ISD have decided to release student early because of the issue.

Caldwell ISD will be releasing students at noon and running buses. Students will only be allowed to get dropped off if the driver sees a parent or guardian at the stop.

Otherwise, students will be returned to campus.

Somerville ISD will be releasing students at 11 a.m. and will be running buses. The buses will only run for students whose parents have talked to the district about the early release.

They said they will run another round of buses at the regular time for the rest of students.

According to Entergy Texas, the issue started because a power line was down. The power was restored before 1 p.m.
