A person was arrested after leading multiple agencies on a chase.
The Freestone County Sheriff's office said that it happened on Feb. 7 at 11:45 p.m. A deputy noticed a car had a defective brake light and tried to stop it. The car didn't stop and began driving away from the deputy near I-45 and FM 246.
The driver lost control of the car on FM 246 near CR 1031. The car was damaged and the driver was pulled out by the passenger side door.
Officials said that the suspect had several firearms and other property that had belonged to someone else who did not know the property was missing.
Seven warrants for theft of a firearm and one for theft were issued.
Wortham police, Fairfield police, Texas Department of Public Safety and Navarro County Sheriff's Office all assisted.
