The second annual Community Through Cards event is in full swing at Amy’s Attic Self Storage.
The goal of the project is for members of the community to share, connect and grow.
People have been stopping by Amy's Attic Self Storage to create Valentine's Day cards for residents at Central Texas retirement communities and area first responders.
Even students got involved.
“And we have teachers actually calling us asking is it that time of year again. They really like to be able to incorporate this idea as a project to work through their teaching curriculum with creative writing community service and creative arts," said Chandra Howard, senior property manager and event coordinator.
Everyone is invited to drop off pre-made Valentine's Day cards or create one on site at any one of the five locations hosting the event.
