After searching for child's missing stuffed bunny with no luck, officers find her a new friend

The Granite Shoals Police Department said that after searching tirelessly for a girl's missing stuffed bunny, they have turned up empty. The police department's original post about the bunny reached over 21,000 people, but still, no bunny was found.

The girl's mother contacted police on Jan. 21 to inform them that her daughter lost her best friend, "Bunny", at the Robin Hood Park. Officers searched the area with no luck, and then posted on social media.

Still, no one had seen her bunny.

They decided to look through the collection of stuffed animals at the station used for comforting children - and one of the animals was a bunny. Police contacted the girl's mother and asked if her daughter would consider a new bunny.

Her daughter, Victoria, agreed to meet the new bunny at the Granite Shoals Police Department. Instantly, Victoria was excited to be reunited with a new friend.

She was also presented with a department patch and a department challenge coin.
