The Salvation Army in Waco got together for a night filled with food, fun, fellowship and football on Sunday.

Along with a hearty meal, people were treated to tailgate snacks and prizes that were handed out to a few lucky winners during the game.

About 60 people showed up for the watch party.

"A lot of people that visit The Salvation Army simply don't have anywhere else to go," said Major Jim Taylor. "All over this town, people are having Super Bowl parties, so why not us, right?"

Taylor has been with The Salvation Army in Waco for about eight months now. He plans to make this an annual tradition.
