Sony Music has dropped singer R. Kelly from its roster of artists, Billboard reports.
The departure agreement between Sony and R. Kelly followed the airing of a Lifetime documentary called "Surviving R. Kelly" which includes sexual misconduct allegations against the singer.
A formal announcement about the split has not been made, but R. Kelly's name has been removed from the RCA Records website, sources report. His back catalog will remain with the company.
