A Belton man was arrested after police say he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl at a Salado park.
In May 2018, an officer spotted Logan Ray Martinez, now 22 years old, and a 16-year-old girl parked in a car at a Salado park past closing hours.
The arrest affidavit says the officer saw the man pulling up his clothing. When speaking to Martinez, he told the officer he had sex with the girl.
On June 8, 2018, a warrant was issued for Martinez's arrest. He was arrested months later on Dec. 28 and charged with sexual assault of a child under the age of 17.
Martinez is being held in the Bell County Jail on a $58,000 bail.
