Man arrested after uncle's death ruled homicide

A man has been arrested for the murder of his uncle. 

Temple police said that on Oct. 28, officers arrived to a home on the 1300 block of S. 35th Street. 

Police said that Mark Sebesta, 59, was found dead. Police said that his body was taken to the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Science and the cause of death was ruled as strangulation homicide. 

Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Mark's nephew, Coby Sebesta, 28. Sebesta was arrested by Temple police on a warrant for another agency. 

A murder warrant was issued on Dec. 20. 

Sebesta is being held at the Bell County Jail. His bond is set at over $1 million. 

The previous charge that he was arrested on was unauthorized use of a vehicle from Bosque County.
