The South Waco Library gave children and their families the opportunity to create homemade holiday ornaments on Wednesday.
The event was “Make and Take,” so families could make a quick stop to create ice cream cone Christmas trees, popsicle stick snowflakes and other neat crafts.
"It brings people together, it provides something free, it keeps the kids out of trouble, keeps the kids busy, it's like an extracurricular activity that the kids can do," said parent Ysabel Silva.
The library hopes that these holiday events will attract more to visit.
