The Waco Transit System hosted their seventh annual “Santa at the Station” event.
Waco Transit had a yearlong preparation for the event.
Jason’s Deli sponsored cookies while Oak Farms sponsored bottles of milk.
Children lined up to have their photo taken, free snack and, of course, to tell Santa what they want for Christmas.
The transit staff expressed their gratitude toward the community and what to show the same support back.
"We want them to know that we're here. We're going to give back to them because we're so thankful and appreciative for what the Waco community does for us," said Serena Stevenson, assistant General Manager of Waco Transit System.
The event is only once a year, but transit staff will soon be planning for next year.
