After a career with the Bryan Police Department spanning more than 25 years, Officer Terrence Nunn is retiring.
Nunn began his career in 1993, serving as a patrol officer for 14 years and 11 years as a Traffic Safety Motor Officer.
During his career, where he was called to work odd hours, Nunn has received recognition for his exceptional work and service to the community:
- 2002 Crime Prevention Inspector Certificate
- 2008 Master Peace Officer Certificate
- 2009 Community Service Citation – for serving as a special US Deputy during the Presidential Inauguration
- 2014 Recognized by “Sons of the American Revolution” for service to the community
- 2014 Recognized by Kiwanis Club of College Station as an Officer of the Year
- 2018 Police Commendation – for assisting in locating and stopping two vehicles involved in an armed robbery at a residence.
In addition, Nunn has also been a member of Honor Guard and the Bryan Police Officers Association. On top of that, Nunn was highly involved with community events displaying his motorcycle and talking to children and adults about safety.
Nunn leaves the Bryan Police Department to pursue his career as an elected official.
