Texas Department of Public Safety is increasing a reward to $8,000 for information leading to the arrest of a wanted suspect this month.

David Dale Booth, 60, makes the state’s 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list and is named this month’s featured fugitive. Booth is wanted for parole violation and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

Booth was convicted in Tarrant County of aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child-sexual contact involving an 8-year-old girl. He was placed on parole in 2014. He has remained on the wanted list since 2015.

Investigators say Booth’s last known ties were to Wichita Falls. His criminal history includes an attempted murder conviction.

Booth is described as 5-feet 11-inches tall and weighs approximately 195 pounds. He has tattoos on both of his upper arms. Booth once worked in the railcar repair industry.

An offender from the Texas 10 Most Wanted Program is featured monthly. Law enforcement says that the higher reward from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division will generate additional tips.

The higher reward will only be paid if the tip comes in the same month the fugitive is featured. The Texas Crime Stoppers has paid $31,500 in total rewards for tips that led to an arrest.

Note that all tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
