'Tis the season!
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) annual Santa Tracker will go live on Dec. 1.
NORAD handles the air defense of the United States and Canada and began Santa tracking in 1955.
"In addition to our day-to-day mission of defending North America, we are proud to carry on the tradition of tracking Santa as he travels along his yuletide flight," said Gen. Terrence O'Shaughnessy, commander NORAD and U.S. Northern Command.
This will be the 63rd year NORAD has tracked Santa Claus.
