Waco firefighters are on the scene of an apartment fire that broke out Friday evening.
The Waco Fire Department said the fire is being held in the kitchen of an apartment on the 1700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Other apartments in the area are being checked.
Officials say that ventilation is in progress.
