BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s soccer team will open postseason play in the 2018 American Southwest Conference Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament on Tuesday, October 30th.
UMHB earned the No. 2 seed and right to host a quarterfinal match. The Cru will host McMurry University at 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the UMHB Soccer Fields. The University of Texas at Dallas earned the No. 1 seed and right to host the semifinal and final rounds of the tournament. Semifinal play will begin on Friday, November 2nd with a 2 p.m. championship match on Sunday, November 4th.
“We have a lot of young, focused guys and we are ready to compete,” head coach Brad Bankhead said. “We have really improved late in the season and we are in the right mindset to defend our title.”
